The Passing of the Chard (aka the Torch) It’s been a busy fall for all of us at Growing to Give. We were pleasantly surprised by the continuation of the growing season. The colors of harvesting in August. The August harvest brings about a special excitement. It awakens our senses to the taste, sight and smell of vegetables we haven’t had for a year. Greetings everyone! I want to share some good news about Genevieve, our Farm Coordinator. She has been accepted to the University of New Hampshire, where she plans to study ecology, starting in the spring semester 2025.
