The Spring Equinox has come and gone, and though it is decidedly wintry as I write this, just last week it was 100F in the hoop houses! In the seedling trailer, newly sprouted storage onions, cabbage, and lettuces are bringing us joy and hope on these gray spring days. The Passing of the Chard (aka the Torch) It’s been a busy fall for all of us at Growing to Give. We were pleasantly surprised by the continuation of the growing season.
