The Farmyard Jam, an old-style farm and music festival featuring local bands, farm tours, food trucks, craft beer, and games for kids, is BACK!
Mark your calendars for Growing to Give’s festival fundraiser on July 25, 2026. There will be local bands, farm tours, food trucks, games, and more! The Farmyard Jam celebrates the commitment and joyfulness of our community as we work together to grow organic veggies for our neighbors in need.

DANCING TO GIVE – A Harvest Party, Raffle, and Online Auction
Thank you to everyone who attended our Dancing to Give Harvest Party and to those who participated in our “Harvest Days” online auction fundraiser! We are grateful to the generous individuals and businesses who sponsored this event and to the volunteers who volunteered their time and energy to help make these events a success.

Take a guided farm tour to learn more about Growing to Give’s mission in action. Whether you’re curious about volunteering, passionate about local food systems, or just looking for a fun afternoon, we’d love to welcome you, your friends, and your family to the farm!
If it is rainy we will have protected areas to stay dry and warm, but please dress for the weather.
Brews for a Cause: Growing to Give (4/16/25)

Date: Wednesday, April 16
Time: 4:00 – 8:00 PM
Location: Flight Deck Brewing, 11 Atlantic Ave, Brunswick, ME
Stop by Flight Deck Brewing anytime between 4:00 and 8:00 PM for an evening of good food, great beer, and community impact—no registration required! Flight Deck Brewing will generously donate 20% of all beer and pizza sales from the evening to support our mission of growing organic produce for neighbors in need while practicing and promoting climate-friendly farming.
Volunteer Workshop – Elderberry Pruning – POSTPONED TO 4/5/2025 due to 3/29/25 weather

Join us for an experiential workshop on elderberry pruning! Learn effective techniques for maintaining healthy, productive elderberry plants, and then put your new skills to work as we prune together on the farm.
This hands-on session is led by Abbie Sewall, a certified organic elderberry grower and the founder of The Bailey Farm in Freeport, Maine.

Volunteer Workshop – Paper Pot Making Party (3/22/2025)

Join us for a fun and hands-on workshop where we’ll be making paper pots out of newspapers to pot up our tender, warm-weather seedlings. Enjoy a cozy morning with tea, coffee, and light snacks as we get ready for the growing season.
